Apps are listed from the most power-hungry.

  2. Look for anything unusual

    An app you rarely use but that uses a lot of battery is the suspect.

  3. Tap the app › Restricted

    It can no longer run in the background. Or uninstall it if you don’t need it.

Normal vs unusual

The screen, YouTube and games use a lot of battery while you use them. Unusual is an app using battery while it is not open (background).

An ageing battery

After 2–3 years battery capacity drops. Some phones show Battery health in Settings › Battery. Below about 80%, have the battery replaced at an official service centre.

Battery saver

Battery saver limits background activity and animations. Adaptive battery learns which apps you rarely use.
