Double-click too slow?
If the two clicks are too slow, Windows treats them as two separate clicks. Adjust it in Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Mouse › Additional mouse settings › Double-click speed.
On a touchpad
Tap once = left click. Tap twice = double-click. Tap with two fingers = right-click. Slide two fingers up/down = scroll.
Left-handed
Swap the left and right buttons in Settings › Bluetooth & devices › Mouse › Primary mouse button.
