Log in again with your number

Open WhatsApp, enter your number and the 6-digit SMS code. This logs the other person out.

  2. Log out devices you don’t know

    Open this menu, tap any device you don’t recognize, then Log out.

  3. Turn on two-step verification

    So it can’t happen again. Follow the two-step verification guide.

  4. Warn family and friends

    Ask them not to send money to anyone using your number.
