The list of nearby WiFi networks appears.

Tap your WiFi’s name
It is usually printed on the modem’s sticker.
Type the password, then tap Connect
The password is on the sticker under the modem too. After this the phone connects by itself whenever you are home.

The padlock icon
Networks with a padlock need a password. Networks without one (free WiFi in cafés and malls) work without a password, but avoid banking on them.
Password keeps failing?
Capital letters matter, and the number 0 is often mixed up with the letter O. Tap the eye icon to see what you typed.
Connected but no internet
“Connected without internet” means the problem is the modem or the provider. See the guide “Internet not working”.
