Find the app that causes it

Ads that cover everything usually come from an app you installed recently: games, cleaners, flashlights.

Menu names may be slightly different on your phone brand.

  1. Find the app that causes it

    Ads that cover everything usually come from an app you installed recently: games, cleaners, flashlights.

  2. Uninstall that app

    Open this menu, tap the app, then Uninstall.

  3. Turn off website notifications

    In Chrome, tap ⋮ › Settings › Notifications and turn off sites you don’t know.
